Testing Water Wells

Water quality and water quantity are two main issues that govern the usability and sustainability of a well.  Scientifically accurate information on both quality and quantity is necessary in order to design infrastructure and develop a proper groundwater management plan.  On a new well, testing should be conducted after the drilling equipment has been removed, and several well volumes of water have  been pumped from the well in order to remove contaminants left by the construction process.
